Detailed Itinerary
Day 01 : New Delhi
Welcome
to India! On arrival you will be transferred and assisted till your room in
your hotel. Remaining day at leisure.
Day 02 : New Delhi-Agra(205kms)
After a leisurely breakfast move out for a daylong sightseeing of Old Delhi
(Shahajahanabad), which includes the Red Fort, Chandni Chowk & Jama
Masjid among other attractions. Later after lunch drive past impressive
boulevards and buildings such as President's Residence and others in
Lutyen's Delhi (New Delhi). Evening drive to Agra. check into the Hotel for
overnight stay.
Day 03 : Agra
After breakfast move out to see the huge Agra fort and visit to the
spectacular Taj Mahal during the sun set. Evening to walk around the
illuminated markets of this old city.
Day 04 : Agra-Jaipur(230kms)
Morning drive to Jaipur- The Pink City. En-route visit to Fathepur Sikri-
the first planed city in Indo Islamic architecture built by Emperor Akbar.
On arrival check-in the hotel. Evening to Evening to enjoy the Rajasthani
dinner in the near by village .Overnight at Hotel.
Day 05 : Jaipur
Proceed for sight seeing which includes Huge Amber Fort over the elephant's
back, the magnificent City Palace and Jantar Mantar (an observatory made by
astronomer king Jai Sing). In the evening you will be transferred to the
railway staion to board the train for Udaipur.
Day 06 : Jaipur-Udaipur(395kms)
Morning arrival at Udaipur -(Known as Venice of the east & city of
Lakes), you will be received and transferred to your hotel. Experience a
wonderful Boat ride over the lake Pichhola in the evening. Overnight at
Hotel.
Day
07 : Udaipur
Move out for sight seeing of this beautiful city and visit the Magnificent
City Palace which is an architectural marvel towering over the lake on a
hill. Also visit Saheliyon -ki-bari (the garden of maids of honour with
numerous fountains which shows the unique life style of the royal ladies who
once strolled here). Evening free to walk down the busy streets of this
wonderful city. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 08 : Udaipur-Jodphur(280kms)
Drive straight to Jodhpur-the blue city. En-route visit Ranakpur (80 Km
from Udaipur) to see the 500 years old uniquely carved Jain temples which
are made of Marble and are situated in a quite and picturesque valley which
runs into western slopes of Aravellis hills. On arrival at Jodhpur check-in
your hotel. Optional Dinner at the Glorious Umaid Bhawan Palace.
Day 09 : Jodhpur-Jaisalmer (285kms)
After the sight seeing of Jodhpur which includes the massive Mehrangarh
fort (This massive Mehrangarh fort came first and around it grew the city of
Jodhpur protected by a high stone wall with seven gates and countless
bastions) proceed for Jaisalmer- the city that rises from the heart of the
Thar desert like a golden mirage. On arrival proceed for the 'Sam Sand Dunes"
the perfect place to enjoy & experience a desert life. Enjoy the sun set
on the back of Camel & experience the night campaigning in the desert.
Day 10 : Jaisalmer
After
breakfast vsist Jaisalmer city which includes the golden-hued Jaisalmer fort
, Nathmaji ki Haveli, Patwon ki Haveli, Salim singh ki Haveli. Evening free
to walk down the street of this fairly tail city.
Day 11 : Jaislmer-Jodhpur-Delhi
Morning drive to Jodhpur through desert landscape with brief halts at
Kheechan (haven for migratory Demoiselle Cranes) and Osian village (ancient
trading town famous for its superbly carved temples) and on arrival you will
be transferred to the airport to board the flight/train for Delhi. Reach
Delhi and you will be transferred to the hotel.
Day 12 : Delhi Departure
Morning at leisure. At an appropriate time you will be transferred to the
international airport for your onward journey.
